Sun Plaza Hotel Fuji Lake Yamanaka - Yamanakako

I had an amazing time ringing in the New Year! The location is perfect, right across from a stunning lake and with a clear view of Mt. Fuji. The public onsen was super relaxing and the perfect way to unwind. Plus, the breakfast spread was delicious-definitely a highlight with tasty udon and fresh salmon!

On the downside, the check-in process was a bit awkward since we had to wait in a dark lobby until exactly 3 PM. I was surprised to find only one pillow each in our room, and I didn’t appreciate being charged for an extra one. That was a letdown!

A lot of goodies for breakfast. Had a double room with very comfortable beds, full view. Ideal and nice location, next to Yamanakako Hiking Course, really enjoyed this place👌

absolutely great hotel, it deserves its 4 stars. i greatly enjoyed extremely friendly and amicable personnel that ensures guests have a very relaxing stay.

We arrived half an hour before check-in and found ourselves in a dark lobby, feeling completely unwelcome. The staff was strictly on the clock, and the whole vibe just screamed of being cheap and unfriendly. Not cool.

The value for money was fantastic, especially considering the comfy beds and great amenities. The location was amazing, right by the lake with fine views, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The morning meal could use more variety to improve options.

I liked having central heating, a variety of TV channels, and a fridge in the room, as well as the clean bathroom with a bathtub.

The location here is fantastic, being near the sea, the Mishima Yamanakako Express bus stop, the lake, and the majestic mountain.

The staff team was helpful. the rooms were brand-new and equipped with very comfortable beds. - the rooms offer a full view. - My room included an electric kettle and a fridge. - the hotel was adjacent to the surrounding areas. - the Mishima Yamanakako Express bus stop is close to the hotel. - the hotel is located near the lake and great mount.

I loved this business hotel! the food was good, and the staff were amicable and attentive. the location was ideal, right next to parks and lakes. There was a huge variety of restaurants to choose from, like Forte Legame, which was only a 5-minute walk away. the double room had a full view and very comfortable beds, just as expected. Additionally, it was a great size compared to other rooms in Yamanakako.

This place is conveniently located next to a bus stop, a food store, izakaya, and a coffee shop, offering nice views from the standard twin room and wake-up service.
